Anyone who has a pet knows its important in Having cozy pet coats for your dog. My dog “Bolt” joined our family when my kids were young. He was a rescue dog from a shelter that was rescued by a family that abandoned him when they thought he may have health issues. We then had the opportunity to adopt him and this was one of the best decisions we have ever made for our family.
He has added another whole dimension to our household through the years. I feel so fortunate that I was able to raise my kids with a pet in the house. He is my third child! Through the years he did end up developing “Addisons Disease” at around 5 years of age. We need to give him regular monthly shots and daily medication. However you would never know he suffers from this because we make sure to take care of him.
So as he has become a “Senior Dog” he has needed an extra layer of protection. It is so important to us to make sure he has one of these cozy pet coats when we walk him during these cold winter months. Or keep him dry on those rainy days.
Its amazing the variety you can find now. From cable knit sweaters for the fall, Raincoats for the stormy days, and cozy pet coats for the colder snowier days. We have a small wardrobe of these coats for Bolt. We think he looks adorable, he tolerates us dressing him!
Check out some of these fun styles I chose. I especially love these cable knit, monogrammed sweaters. As a designer (you can read about that here) I have been checking out the construction. I think I may need to do a DIY on how to make some additional ones for him!
