My sister, Nicole and I created Double Arrow Design after the passing of our Father in 2013. It was our way of dealing with this loss, and our art therapy. The name Double Arrow Designs came from an excerpt from our fathers favorite book of prose poetry, The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran on Children. We realized after, that the acronym was D.A.D. which was so fitting, The name was perfect.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

At Double Arrow Designs ,we started repurposing furniture and creating beautiful one of a kind painted pieces that we sold. It then transitioned into etched glasses, pallet signs and Ornaments. We stopped our business in 2016, by then, Nicole had moved onto her career in UX design and I continued to Design Children’s Apparel.
I am forever grateful for the love of my sister who helped to create something so beautiful. Today I am continuing the work that we had started in 2013 and will expand it to encompass many more areas of design. I hope you enjoy the blog posts where I share my design process.
