I’m Susan, the designer behind Double Arrow Designs. I’m a full-time fashion apparel designer, graphic artist, illustrator, and lifelong maker with a love for turning everyday things into something thoughtful, useful, and full of personality.
Double Arrow Designs began as a place to share the projects and creative ideas I was already making in real life. Furniture makeovers, peel-and-stick wallpaper projects, printable gifts, care package labels, home decor ideas, and little design details that make a space feel more personal.
I believe good design does not have to be intimidating or expensive. Sometimes it starts with a dresser that needs a second chance, a blank wall that could use a little pattern, or a printable tucked into a care package at just the right moment.
My goal is to help you look at ordinary pieces, spaces, and moments differently. Around here, you’ll find practical tutorials, creative shortcuts, printable designs, and project inspiration you can actually use.

Behind the blog
How it all started
It all started with a shared creative spark between my sister, Nicole and me — two minds constantly dreaming up ways to make the ordinary feel a little more beautiful. What began as late-night sketching, furniture flips, and weekend craft projects slowly grew into something more: a clear vision that creativity wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life.
Over time, I found myself blending my background in apparel design, graphic art and illustration with my love of design, homegoods, and meaningful details. Whether I was redesigning a forgotten piece of furniture, creating custom printables, or curating guides to help others shop with style and intention — I realized my passion had a purpose.
That’s how this brand was born. From the ground up. With the belief that great design should always tell a story and be fun to create!
