This Year’s Thanksgiving is going to have a little different feeling to it. We have limits on who can come celebrate, but this doesn’t mean we have to give up on fun! I have included 11 fun Thanksgiving Day printables to help with this.
Thanksgiving is around the corner. An American holiday that is steeped in tradition for most families. A kick off to the holiday season. This year, I will not be together with all my family. However in this new age of technology I am sure we will get on a Zoom call to check in with each other. However If you are like me, 10 minutes into these video calls they can sometimes become a little aimless.
So this Thanksgiving I decided to sit down and take my graphic skills and work on a plan! I created a themed packet of 11 fun Thanksgiving day printables that can be shared with my family and friends. This was so much fun in creating these. (You can check out some of my other downloadable art here). Yes my husband, Brian just thinks I’m crazy because I would rather create this then sit and watch TV. But Lucky you! Anyone can download them, see below for link.

Fun 11 Thanksgiving Day Printables that are included:
- A fun invitation that can be edited- I plan on using mine to either email, or do a group text letting everyone know what time we will meet on Zoom.
- The gratitude “game” and calendar will be great tools to share and remind everyone how blessed we truly are!
- A packet of quizzes and games to entertain while we are all talking. We then can break out into groups and compete amongst everyone. Winner can have bragging rights. Who knows? this may become a new tradition!
- Finally for the family that is with you in person, a few decorations to help set the mood for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving Day Invitation
Whether you are having people visit in person, or on line, I created this fun invite that can be printed or emailed. By using the idea of fun “craft paper” as the background it kept the invite warm, and adding a printed glitter to make it pop. Also I added the same invite on white. So you can get creative and print it on any paper you choose for a variety of looks.
Thanksgiving Day Gratitude
Why do we celebrate Thanksgiving? This Holiday was first celebrated in 1691 for 3 days amongst native Americans and Pilgrims. To celebrate the first fall harvest. Today everyone knows what’s on the Thanksgiving day menu! I have such gratitude for this day, to be able to eat, drink and celebrate with my loved ones.
It is a time to be with family and friends and reflect on what everyone is thankful for. I added two thanksgiving day printables of Gratitude. First in an exercise that can be done with your guests, either in person or online. Then a “Gratitude” calendar for December to remind ourselves on how fortunate we really are. A good reminder to the upcoming end of the year so as to reset our positive thinking process.
Thanksgiving Day Printable “games”
Enjoying a feast with your family is always enjoyable. Most families have dessert, then watch football or hang out and chat. So why not a set of “games” or quizzes to share amongst your guests for a group activity? Sometimes a new activity can infuse some life into the evening, giving everyone a chance to participate and interact with one another, instead of staring at their phones! This was centered around a Thanksgiving theme to keep it all in context.
Thanksgiving Day printable Decorations
Easy banner printables, first you can download, then print, and cut them out and easily tape these on a ribbon or cord. So Cute for a doorway, mantle, or any space in your home. Moreover this can be a fun arts & craft project if you have children to involve them in the process of preparing for Thanksgiving.
When sitting down to Thanksgiving day dinner, a well set table is always appreciated. To keep true to this theme of gratitude, instead of giving table settings specific guest names, I added a reflective word to differentiate each setting. With a little paper, scissors and ribbon, these easy napkin holders offer a finished and heart warming touch. First all you need to do is print out, cut out (I kept the black shape in my cut napkin holder). Fold utensils in napkin. fold bottom of napkin up then cross the two sides over. Hole punch on either side of holder. Then Place the ribbon around the back, and thread through back of hole.
Thanksgiving Day printable Art
I decided to take my theme and add one last category with a piece of graphic art. Easy to print out, add to a frame and place on a counter, buffet or even the bathroom! It’s a reminder to always be thankful for what we have, I know I am. This has been a difficult year, but As I have said in my past blog (you can read that hear)
“I have learned, that during a time of hardship, you can find the moments of beauty. They are there, you just have to look a little harder to find them”.
I used Epson Presentation Matte paper, for both my banner (at regular size) & and sized my art down to 5×7 so that I could frame it. You can also use this for your napkin holders if you want a little more quality for these.
